Skills for Employment is funding a 2 week summer 'bootcamp' for young people interested in becoming an apprentice in the fast-growing, Warwickshire Game Development industry. There are just 9 places available for this exciting, full-funded opportunity. The camp will take place on the premises of a dynamic Games Development company in central Leamington Spa. Experts from the company will work with JBC Training to deliver the camp.

IBM's Apprenticeship Insight Day for Year 12 students 

The National Careers Service Inspiration Agenda and IBM will host a special Apprenticeship Insight Day for Year 12 students. This is an opportunity to visit IBM and explore their apprenticeship schemes and graduate opportunities.

Students will learn about IBM’s:

  • Apprenticeship scheme
  • Futures scheme
  • Placement scheme
  • Graduate opportunities

The event will provide a chance to network with key professionals within IBM to discuss the application process and future recruitment opportunities. Students will hear from current apprentices about their experience, which will be followed by a mini careers fair in the company.

Bring your students to this fantastic opportunity to hear first-hand information on what IBM look for in candidates they recruit.

EY's Business & Apprenticeship Programmes

Invitation for Year 12 students

EY is one of the big four accounting firms in the world and one of the UKs biggest recruiters for students. They are currently looking to employ 200 Business Apprentices and in excess of this for 2018. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for your current Year 12 students to:

  • Gain an understanding about the programmes available as an alternative to university
  • Learn about the recruitment process and how to identify and develop their strengths
  • Meet the EY school leavers who have taken this career route
  • Gain an insight into working life at a leading global business

Students will also get a chance to meet recruiters and gain top tips on how to tackle the recruitment process.
