Nominated charities came into school to collect cheques.
From Monday 30th October to Friday 3rd November, the Sixth Form held its annual Charity Week, in which the Sixth Form hosted various activities over the course of the week in order to raise money for the various charities that Aylesford supports. Recently, the Sixth Form were able to hand over the money that we raised to those deserving charities. In total, we were able to raise over £2,300 which was split between: 'The Matt Davis Foundation'; 'Guide Dogs'; 'The British Heart Foundation'; 'Molly Olly's Wishes' and 'Blood Wise'. During the assembly, each charity spoke about the life saving work that they do, as well as how they are able to make life more comfortable for a young person affected by illness. Through Charity Week and other fundraising events, we hope that we can continue to support these charities and the incredible work that they do.
