Senior ICT Technician
We are looking to appoint a Senior ICT Technician to work closely with our professional IT partners to provide very high quality onsite technical support for all staff and students using IT equipment at Aylesford School & Sixth Form College.
The successful candidate will support, at all times, the school’s total commitment to the safety and well-being of all members of its community by working with our professional IT partners to ensure compliance with all current policies, regulations, and legislation related to the use of computer equipment.
The successful candidate will have experience of working as an ICT Technician or related employment. They must exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proactive approach to planning, organising and prioritising work. An understanding of network infrastructures is essential as well as knowledge of Microsoft packages including operating systems. The work involves supporting PC Workstations and Laptops, Interactive Classrooms, Wireless Networks and Printer management. The successful candidate must be able to undertake basic equipment maintenance.
Salary Scale H - £23,111.00 - £25,463.00 per annum
Full Time – 37 hours per week; Mondays to Thursdays – 8.00am to 4.00pm
Fridays – 8.00am to 3.30pm
Contract – 52 weeks per annum plus holiday allowance
1 year contract in the first instance to be reviewed
