New Teaching Assistant Level 3
We are looking for an enthusiastic teaching assistant who is keen to support and enable students to achieve across the 11-16 range.
This is a senior teaching assistant role, working on behalf of students who may have a specific or a range of learning difficulties. The post requires the management and direction of students of specific groups of children who have a wide range of specific educational needs that may have impacted on their numeracy development.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant to work with our dedicated team of Maths teachers to provide in-class and numeracy support for students in Key Stages 3 and 4. You will also be supporting class teachers in a variety of lessons what will give you great insight into how to produce a fun and engaging educational experience.
We are looking for teaching assistants who can pass on their subject knowledge, communicate clearly and enable easy learning so that students can access the curriculum. You should possess a supportive, nurturing outlook.
The role is part time; 31.25 hours per week Monday to Friday 8.30am – 3.15pm, term time only plus teacher training days (39 weeks).
The salary will be paid on Scale H, points 14-17 (£23,836.00 - £26,317.00 pro rata) starting at point 14 which equates to £17,238.80 per annum on the part time hours detailed.
