An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead Warwickshire’s first all-through school. Aylesford School and Sixth Form is a successful single Academy, now providing education on a single site to pupils aged 4 to 18, Reception through to Sixth Form.
The Governors of Aylesford School are seeking to appoint an exceptional leader who will build upon the successes of the retiring Headteacher, supported by a committed and loyal staff body. With a School Development Plan which aims to grow admissions across every stage of the School’s provision, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to lead on the next phase of Aylesford’s history.
Applications are welcomed from Headteachers and exemplary Deputy Headteachers who can demonstrate that they are able to:
- exemplify the values of Aylesford: wonder; aspiration, respect, discipline
- evidence a contextual understanding of the School’s priorities and challenges
- lead the development of an effective, inclusive and balanced through-school curriculum that supports learners to develop the skills and knowledge needed in life
- inspire and retain a strong staff body
- build effective relationships with parents, other schools and the wider community
