Teaching Assistant Level 3 – Key Skills
We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant (Level 3) to join our Learning Support and Inclusion Team. The successful candidate will join our experienced team of TAs supporting vulnerable students.
Under the Director of Learning Support & Inclusive Practice the successful candidate will be required to work with students on an individual and small group basis, improving their basic key skills, around cognition and learning. They will also be required to deliver Life Skills sessions, mentoring and lead lunchtime clubs for students with Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND). The role requires experience of working with children and young people who have aspects of SEND, both Primary and Secondary experience would be beneficial.

This post is:-
• 35 hours per week
• Monday to Friday: 8.30am to 4.00pm (30 minutes lunch)
• Term time only plus teacher training days (39 weeks)
The salary will be paid on Band H, Scale Points 14-17 (currently £23,836 - £26,317 pro rata) which equates to £19,307.46 per annum.
