Yesterday, 24th January, we welcomed Jill Fraser, Chief Executive and Co-founder of the charity Kissing it Better into school. She delivered engaging and interactive workshops to our children, teaching them the importance of reducing the isolation experienced by many older people. In an effort to bring the generations together, the children learnt ways to connect with and bring joy to the older generation.  Jill was supported by Caty Oates, who works for the charity, and Sophie Hilleary, the High Sherriff of Warwickshire.

The children were all amazing and I was blown away by their kindness and empathy. I was delighted to receive the following email:

"Thank you for making Jill, Sophie and I so welcome today. The children in both sessions were outstanding, all engaged and so eager to take part. We were so impressed with the quality of their answers,  I think nearly every child had their hand up to answer questions.  They behaved beautifully and are a credit to you and your team.

It was also wonderful to see how the theme of kindness focuses so strongly in your school ethos."
