This week in the STEM Club, sponsored by the Royal Society Partnership Grant, we were treated to a live link with John Ratcliffe Hospital and Professor Clare to complete some experiments with the MRI scanner! We also want to thank the Royal Society for our new camera equipment. pic.twitter.com/hlTsnjK3C9

Our year 10s became District Cup Champions yesterday with a deserved 3-2 win against Myton. Another brilliant team performance by everyone, with Connor Brewster scoring a brace and Jay Allison getting a late goal to wrap things up. and politely explain again why it is so important. Don’t be diverted by anyone who suggests that you contact other organisations such as the Local Authority. Only the examination boards have the power to make adjustments to the assessment process. Tim
My advice would be don’t give up. If you have been told only the school can request special consideration for candidates please understand this is the standard reply. I would suggest that a good response is to tell them that you are supporting the school in their application…
In the meantime, thank you to everyone who has already written to them in support. I cannot stress enough how important it is to let them know how you feel. Some of you have told us about the interesting responses you are getting and asked what to do next.
Our concerns have been listened to and there is considerable sympathy for the plight of our young people. We are not naïve. Experience would suggest that we will need to fight very hard to get our voice heard. However, we are starting to make progress.
Good afternoon, everyone. I’ll start this update with some good news. Over the past week we have started meeting with our four exam boards about this year’s exam entries. This will continue over the next few weeks. So far we are encouraged by the response. pic.twitter.com/o5E2HoadSg

Well done to our Year 7 and 10 Netball Teams who made the Finals of The District Plate on Wednesday. Despite defeats in both, there were some excellent performances and the girls were a credit to our school. Well done girls 👏 👏 pic.twitter.com/iYfvygGRs0
