Giant Class

My name is Miss Jeffries and I am the class teacher of Year 5. This is my fifth year teaching at Aylesford School and I have enjoyed teaching lots of children! 

This year, Giant class is fortunate to be supported by Mrs Hird, as well as other members of our Aylesford team. Our classroom is upstairs, in upper key stage 2, near our fabulous computing suite. I believe we have the best classroom because of the wonderful views across our school field.

Year 5 Curriculum

We have already had an excellent year in Year 5 and now we have an exciting busy, Summer Term ahead with lots of brilliant learning opportunities.

During the Summer term, our topic is ‘Traders and Raiders’ where we will be exploring Anglo-Saxons and Vikings and their invasions of England. As always, we shall be taking a cross-curricular approach to our learning and explore our topic through many areas of the curriculum.
