Aylesford School is immensely proud to announce the remarkable achievements of Gemma Stanton, one of our outstanding A Level students. Gemma has achieved exceptional results: an A in Psychology, an A* in Sociology, and a Distinction* in BTEC Health and Social Care. These results are a testament to her dedication, intelligence, and determination.

Gemma should be so proud of her achievement. On repeating Year 13, she surpassed all expectations, exemplifying Aylesford School’s core values of Ambition, Resilience, and Kindness. Her journey has not been without significant challenges. During her studies, Gemma’s mother received a cancer diagnosis, a difficult time for Gemma and her family. We are delighted to share that on 13th August, Gemma and her family received the wonderful news that her mother is now all clear, bringing tremendous relief and joy.

Gemma had previously accepted an offer from Aston University to study Psychology. However, in light of her outstanding results, she will now be reconsidering her options for higher education. Prestigious universities such as York and Durham are now within reach, and Gemma will take the time she needs to make a measured and thoughtful decision about her next steps.

Gemma’s achievements, both academic and personal, are truly inspirational. She has shown an unwavering commitment to her studies and demonstrated remarkable strength and kindness through challenging personal circumstances. We, as a school community, are so very proud of her and eagerly look forward to hearing about her future successes.

Congratulations, Gemma, on this well-deserved recognition. Your resilience and ambition are an inspiration to us all.
