Welcome to the Pegasus Class page. I am Mrs Adkins and I am the Year 2 (Pegasus Class) teacher. I love to make learning fun, engaging and exciting by bringing the topics to life through creative, practical and interesting lessons.
Autumn Term: London's Burning!
Our next exciting topic is The Great Fire of London. Through a range of engaging, fun and hands-on activities, children will discover how the fire started, how it spread through London, and the impact it had on people's lives. This cross-curricular topic will link learning across History, Literacy, Art, Design Technology and more, providing lots of opportunities for creativity, investigation and exploration. Snack Time
Fruit is provided for KS1.
To keep our children energized and focused throughout the morning, we kindly remind parents that morning break time snacks must be healthy.
We want to encourage nutritious choices that fuel learning. Great options include fresh fruit, chopped vegetables, or a yogurt.
Home Learning
The children have three pieces of home learning each week:
- Maths Journals
- Spellings
- Reading at least 3 times a week
