Giant Class

My name is Miss Cowne and I am the class teacher of Year 5.

This year, Giant class is fortunate to be supported by Mrs Tovey, as well as other members of our Aylesford team. Our classroom is upstairs, in Upper Key Stage 2, near our fabulous computing suite. 

Year 5 Curriculum

We have an exciting Autumn Term ahead, filled with lots of fabulous learning opportunities.

During the Autumn Term, our topic is 'Revolting Romans' where we will be exploring Roman Britain, with a focus on what life was like in Rome and during the Roman invasion. As always, we will be taking a cross-curricular approach to our learning and exploring our topic through Literacy, History, Geography, Art, DT and Science.
