Reinstatement Project Update - Nov 2025

We remain on course for sectional completion on some areas of the school early next year. Sections 1 & 2, which includes 16 classrooms, 7 science labs and a prep room, 2 IT rooms, the Reception, Main Office and Student Services, student and staff toilets and the Sixth Form student study space are all course for an earlier hand-back to the school.

Work will soon commence on looking at reoccupation of these spaces, which will involve key stakeholders for these areas – Heads of Department etc along with SLT links – along with the wider health & safety and other reoccupation considerations e.g. amending fire evacuation documents, ensuring CCTV & security is operations, testing all IT and other equipment, decanting equipment from the storage containers and Wernick units, making sure the timetable is updated to reflect the new room numbers, sorting out new building signage etc.

We are aiming to reoccupy all of these spaces in the Spring Term so that the Village can be removed over Easter as long as the works continue to progress without delay. There is still a lot of work to be done – but it is exciting times!
